Eka Mukhadze’s Solo Exhibition at VINOTEL

The exhibition explores the artist’s personal perspective on life, possibility and the relationship between perception and action.

As Eka Mukhadze explains:

“This is, in general, my way of seeing the world. We always carry within us a world filled with countless colors and possibilities, yet we live as if the opposite were true — as though there were no time or place for the most important and decisive moments of our lives.

According to Dionysius the Areopagite, inaction itself is evil, while action is good. Perception is followed by the moment to act — and choosing the right moment means choosing the right scene. Everything else is detail: sometimes left behind the scene, misplaced and seemingly unnecessary, like scenery that no longer belongs to the stage.”
